ShreeRaga Music School kids are trained by guru Smt. Jayashree Chandrasekaran at two locations Flanders & Parsippany, NJ. Mrs. Jayashree is from Neyveli, India, Gifted with a mellifluous, captivating voice, and abundant musical talent, settled in NJ.
She started her Carnatic music learning at a very young age with her Aunt Smt. Trichy S. Premavathy, a very talented Vocalist and later learned under the tutelage of several gurus for more than 10 years. She has given several vocal programs in All India Radio and participated in Sun TVs music programs.
Her repertoire includes a wide variety of classical and light classical compositions ? Krithis of Tyagaraja, Muthuswami Dikshitar and Swathi Thirunal, Tamil Krithis and bhajans. She has special training & knowledge in Thevaram & devotional songs and performed several concerts.
As a well accomplished music teachers for years, she is training Kids & Adults from the theory of Carnatic Music , Thillanas & raga swaras.
